Texas

Chris Jessie!

Airborne51's picture

Ladies and gentleman. This man became an instant sports celebrity overnight because of this incident:

I have very little to say except laughing hard all night watching this play. I know Texas always do lovely silly things, there's no question about that, but this beats everything else out there. The gameplay of the year, the most infamous non-player play, you name it.

And for your reading pleasure, I found some of his pictures online:

Sitting on Texas Endzone

Man, this video is totally priceless.

(Just to let you know, if you can't handle profanity, just play this clip with sound turned off)

It seems like jdustinstone ended up sitting on Texas Endzone surrounded by all LongHorn fans during OU-Texas game. I personally would have avoided that place like a plague. It's just intimidating as hell, and I wouldn't know if I could get out alive from there if the game got awry :D

West End Crazyness

rushers's picture

I think West End is the best place to be when it comes to OU-Texas night. I only visited there twice before this weekend, and honestly, I kinda forgot on how intense the energy is whenever the fans of two football powerhouses gather in one place, talk smack all night from 10pm to 1am. Nevertheless, when I finally got there, all that atmosphere came back to me. Great times.

But the biggest pet peeve is finding a parking spot. Hell, I knew how hard it's gonna get a spot due to Red River Rivalry and all, but it was just ludicrous. Dallas drivers are 1000x more aggressive and they don't mind cutting you off for that precious car space right in front of your eyes, even though you knew you saw that spot first and are positioned close enough to park right into it. Yeah, you can say you gotta apply the "king of the jungle" here, but man, some of these mad drivers just don't know a thing called "courtesy". That particular one pisses me off a bit.
