Sooners
The Play
Posted February 29th, 2008 by UrusaiHey guys, it's been forever since the last time I blogged here.
Well, not really, it's only been over like, a month?
Okay, maybe it has been forever.
Anyway, although our 2007 football season is over, there is some leftover residue that's been haunting us for a while now: Boise State's "The Play" on Fiesta Bowl 2007.
Yes, it's that statue of Liberty the capped our lose
Yes, that thing has been replayed over and over since ESPN decided to run a show called the Greatest Highlight since last month.
Now I want it be over with. ASAP.
I updated Oklahoma Sooners Football Schedule 2008-2009
Posted January 16th, 2008 by UrusaiOU Players Going To NFL 2008
Posted January 16th, 2008 by UrusaiThese are the list as of now:
Malcolm Kelly
Curtis Lofton
Reggie Smith
Marcus Walker
Stay tuned for more updates.
Personal note: losing MK, Lofton and Smith will leave a big dent to Stoops troops this season. I am personally disappointed, but I'm a selfish fan so... good luck for them and wish them to rip it up like AD did this year!
Sooners is Ranked #2 by Mark Schlabach (ESPN)
Posted January 9th, 2008 by Airborne51Media loves us sooo much! Oklahoma gets a generous #2 spot in 2008 preseason standing. It's up to Sooners whether they can live up to the expectation because I personally haven't been able to completely get rid of that bitter taste of Fiesta loss.
2. Oklahoma
With nine starters eligible to come back on offense and seven on defense, the Sooners should be favorites in the Big 12. Now, if Oklahoma just didn't have to play in a bowl game. The Sooners should be explosive on offense, even after losing 1,000-yard rusher Allen Patrick. Tailback DeMarco Murray ran for 764 yards and 13 touchdowns as a freshman, and quarterback Sam Bradford threw 36 touchdowns with only eight interceptions in his first season as a starter.
OU Suffers Another Blowout Loss in Fiesta Bowl against WVU
Posted January 3rd, 2008 by UrusaiEmbarrassed, annoyed, despair, disappointment. There's so much emotion running through me last night that it took a while to regather myself before posting this blog.
Yes, OU lost AGAIN. And yes, it was another ugly rout. Losing 48-28 by West Virginia in another Fiesta Bowl after an embarrassing lost to Boise State last year. If you didn't know it by know then you are either a caveman/cavewoman or out there in Vegas or overseas. The news is everywhere and Oklahoma Sooners is the official laughing stock of college football to date.
Sorry, I couldn't resist but I can't downplay my disappointment with the Sooners that I've supported all season long just to have their faces plastered as the biggest losers in the big stage of bowl game. And the year 2008 just got started.
Fiesta Preparation
Posted December 27th, 2007 by UrusaiNot much is going on lately since Christmas aside from the returning / reselling gifts and shopping for more deals before the end of the year (I know I am). But Fiesta Bowl is lurking near next Wednesday so for the people who are making trips to Arizona to watch the game live, I wish you guys a happy, safe trip and make sure you gusy support our Sooners for all 4 quarters.
Boomer Sooners!
