Norman Public Library

Welcome all Yu-Gi-Oh! players grades 7th through 12th grade! This is a casual play tournament lasting from 2pm to 4pm.

Players must bring their own deck (40-60 cards), a standard six-sided die, and a coin for coin tosses (no automated coin tosses permitted). Please have your deck in cases and do not bring more with you than you feel comfortable watching. Please familiarize yourself with the banned and forbidden list found at http://www.yugioh-card.com/en/limited/. Registration is appreciated but not required.

Ever wanted to spend the night in the library? Well, here is your chance!

Norman Library presents LOCKED IN THE LIBRARY: An Overnight Mystery.

Teens get "locked in" the library at 11:00p.m. Saturday night and will get to solve a mystery, enjoy a late night dinner, participate in a costume contest and other fun activities until 7:00a.m. Sunday morning!

This event is only open to Teens ages 12-17. They must get a permission form from the Information Desk or online from our website which has to be filled out by a parent or guardian and returned by March 5th. But you better hurry – spots are filling up fast!

Drop-off begins at 9:00pm and the doors will be locked at 11pm. Teens can hang out in the game room, with the Xbox360, Wiis and other games, and play until the lock-in begins.

Join us for an overnight event full of mystery, food, and fun!

The Norman Public Library Teen Services is hosting a special Mario Party and Tournament for its March Game On event! Prizes are gift cards to Speeding Bullet and Atomik Pop!.

This Game On is divided into two sessions with four tournaments per session. Players may register for a single tournament for each session. Session One is from 1pm-2:30pm. Session Two is from 2:30pm-4pm. Registration for both sessions starts at 12pm.

The Norman Public Library holds a free monthly non-electronic gaming event for teens called People vs. Boardom (PvB). Dates for the spring are February 2, March 2, April 6, and May 4. All PvB events are 5-9p.

Games played include Dungeons and Dragons, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and other role play or collectable card games. Open to those in grades 7th to 12th. New and experienced players are welcome. All players must bring their own supplies. Contact the library for details or questions.

All Game On events are Saturday afternoons from 1-4p. Game On is open to teens in 7th to 12th grade. Games and gaming systems are provided by the Library.
