moving

Hey everyone! I'm new on here and I need a little information. I live in Texas but yet for the past 8 years since I have graduated high school I have been a huge die hard OU fan. I wanted to apply when I graduated but chickened out. I am thinking about applying in the spring of 2008 and moving to Norman. I want to know if it would be worth it to drop everything and head that way since it has been a dream of mine for almost a decade. How is life in Norman or OKC? How is the experience at OU? I just want to know a little information so it can help make my decision. I only know one person that goes there so entering a new place knowing that one person is kind of hard. Anyways, I will quit babbling, help me out please.
