Congratulation to ex-Sooners "All Day" (AD) Adrian Peterson and Tommie Harris for making it into Pro Bowl 2008 roster!
As the matter of fact, AD will make his appearance as a STARTER for NFC team! That is a very rare accomplishment for any rookie in the league.
Much love to Tommie. Although I think he should be a starter, Tommie will play as a reserve DT for NFC. It's great to see AD battled it out with Tommie on last Monday Night Football :)
It's good to be a Sooner.

Things are looking good for Peterson. Although the ex-sooner didn't have a particularly spectacular night after being held under 100yards the entire game, he came up big when Vikings needed it the most. With a botched handout by Bellinger, AD managed to cut and explode on the left side of the field for his 2nd touchdown of the night. A truly beautiful play to witness to cap 20-31 win over Chicago Bears.
I think media and people expectation are starting to get ludicrous. In a typical NFL RB performance, Adrian performed well. But eversince he broke that record of most rush yards gained in a game, whenever he gains anything less than 200 yards per game is considered to be mediocre.
It feels really good that one of ex-Sooners is getting a lot of media attention. Adrian Peterson latest record breaking performance shows the nation that Oklahoma produces quality players. Any high school prospect out there that loves AD and wanna be like AD will likely to join Oklahoma than other schools. I mean, come on, AD is a living, breathing OU billboard sign! Whenever I see AD highlights on ESPN, I still see him wearing Sooners' jersey breaking tackles.
Go AD!

Peterson's highlights from the pre-season game against the Jets:
Talk about "first run" statement :D
