Finally, the first BCS result is out:

1 Ohio State
2 South Florida
3 Boston College
4 LSU
5 Oklahoma
It was actually not as bad I thought it would be. With our current schedule strength, the logical expectation was to position OU somewhere on 10th-13th rank. But fortunately, the computers were on our side, at least for this week :)
Of course, to get back into the title game, we need at least three of the top four to fall sometime on the remainder of the season. But notice that the discrepancy between Sooners' BCS score and LSU's is about .08 points while the other top four's are about .05 and less. So even if they lose, they still have a chance to stay on top of us. We need Texas Tech and Missouri to win the remainder of the season (except against us) to boost our schedule strength.
