Sooners start off the season with a bang: 79-10. But I felt like the Sooners celebrated their glory a little too much too soon. No doubt Sam Bradford and DeMarco Murray proved that they have untapped potential to be the next "Jason White - Adrian Peterson," but we are talking about OU vs North Texas here. NT just hired a coach straight from high school and sure enough, it was like watching a game between a college team and a highschool team. Mean Green was completely overmatched in every way.
This week will be the first game when OU will be tested on both ends. Miami has a much faster, more athletic defense squad, especially on the front line. If OU wants to win this one, the O-line has to step up the game and give Sam enough time to throw the ball. Or Sam is going to get sacked like the way we did it to the North Texas QB last week.
