Adrian Peterson - Viking vs Detroit Week 15

Things are looking good for Peterson. Although the ex-sooner didn't have a particularly spectacular night after being held under 100yards the entire game, he came up big when Vikings needed it the most. With a botched handout by Bellinger, AD managed to cut and explode on the left side of the field for his 2nd touchdown of the night. A truly beautiful play to witness to cap 20-31 win over Chicago Bears.

I think media and people expectation are starting to get ludicrous. In a typical NFL RB performance, Adrian performed well. But eversince he broke that record of most rush yards gained in a game, whenever he gains anything less than 200 yards per game is considered to be mediocre.

I'm happy with the amount of publicity AD got last night. When he sat on ESPN booth right next to Emmitt Smith after the game, he just exudes "Sooner" brand name all over. Any high school football player who wants to be like AD will more likely follow his footstep by going to Oklahoma.

Chicago was definitely prepared to contain AD. They even dared to put only 1 safety to cover passing play just to make sure Adrian wasn't going anywhere. I can see this as a blueprint for other teams to stop Peterson.

Now, if Jackson is a decent QB, that scheme was an easy giveaway for him. But he's not :/

I saw that, too. I was like "are they out of their mind???" That's crazy!

Jackson should have passed!

I thought his performance wasn't all that great. They finally figured out how to stop him. And without Jackson being an effective passer, Viking is a one dimensional team. And if AD gets shut down, they pretty much got no offense.

AD made it to Pro Bowl as a rookie:

Tommie Harris is in it, too :-D

Congrats to AD and Tommie!

His strong NFL debut kinda reminds me of his freshman year.

Pro bowl **STARTER** as a rookie. That's amazing.

Tommie Harris played well this year, too. He's already good since his years in Oklahoma year so finally he gets the credit he deserves.
